With over ten years of experience capturing the stories of hundreds of clients across Yorkshire, I feel most at home in my photography studio or out in the wilderness, creating beautiful, heartfelt portraits that are truly worth remembering. When I’m not photographing families, you’ll often find me exploring the great outdoors with my two young children and my husband, Dan. I’m happiest wandering through sunlit woodlands, meadows, or simply enjoying life in our rural village. Our perfect day often ends at home, baking something sweet — like brownies — and savouring the simple joys of life, from playful afternoons in the garden to family board games that spark a little healthy competition!

I have a deep love for capturing the journey of motherhood — from the quiet anticipation of maternity, to the hazy, magical early days of welcoming your newborn into the family, and the treasured milestones that follow as your little one grows. As a mum of two, I know how fleeting these chapters are, and it fuels my passion to document and share in the journey of parenthood with my clients. There is such joy in seeing families return year after year, trusting me to preserve the moments that matter most.
As families grow and little ones begin to find their feet, I love inviting clients outdoors for relaxed sessions filled with curiosity, play, and discovery. These sessions are a chance to slow down, connect, and create new memories — all while I gently capture the authentic moments that tell the story of your family.
One of my fondest childhood memories is sitting on my grandma’s knee in front of a roaring fire, turning page after page of the family photo album. I remember wondering who all these people could be — with their super sideburns and fluffy perms! That worn leather album overflowed with memories: some funny, some grand, but all so dear. In their own unique way, these photographs became the greatest family heirlooms, and I often wonder if this was one of the first sparks that steered me towards becoming a photographer.
My journey truly gathered pace in 2014 when I got engaged and began searching for the perfect photographer to capture our wedding day. That search led me to discover fine art photography. I instantly fell in love with the soft pastel tones, considered compositions, and the romantic, timeless feel the style conveys. I was hooked. Not only did I know this was the style I wanted for our own wedding, but it also ignited a passion to create, to learn, and ultimately to begin my career as a family and wedding photographer — a journey that has brought me immense joy ever since.
